Hi Abigail, the safest and longest tried and tested is certainly black tattoo ink. We recommend that you contact the ink manufacturer before the tattoo appointment to check that there is no nickel in the ink used. It is best to start with a small tattoo to see how your body reacts to the substances. If you do not notice any allergic reactions, you can slowly increase the size of the tattooed area.
