I suffer with psoriasis I have a sleeve on my right arm but it’s always hit and miss with me. As the last tattoo I got on my left arm blew horribly and I had to have it lasered off I’ve heard that people dot work is better for people who suffer from psoriasis is this true. Desperately wanting more tattoos. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello, we recommend that you test the inks used before tattooing. You should also make sure that the psoriasis is not fully active at the time of tattooing. A strengthened immune system and especially a healthy diet before the appointment and during healing is very helpful.

In general, black ink should cause fewer complications than colours. It can also be helpful to work with less ink or to choose a style that is more forgiving. Dotwork, for example, is a good option here.
