Diamond tips are shaped like a V which resembles a diamond, therefore the name. They are great for smaller liner and round shader configurations (3’s, 5’s) because the needle doesn’t have as much “wobble” room like in a round shaped tube. Also, the visibility of the needle is increased compared to a round shaped tube because of the design.
