what is the best lighting to use for tattooing ? Also what’s best to work from lamps or ceiling lights ?

We’ve asked around for you and most artists prefer a combination of both ceiling lights and tattoo lamps, as well as a good level of natural lighting from a large window. In regards to tattoo lighting, it’s generally a mixed view. Some only use a tattoo lamp when working on specific tattoo styles and projects and some use on every tattoo they do. Others said they didn’t feel the need for one. It seems to depend on how good the lighting is in the shop/studio already.
