Can anyone with experience in using Gold ink recommend a gold ink that looks gold after it heals (not yellow), I’ll be doing a Kintsugi peace so will be just lines of gold so not much room to shade it to look gold ??

Hi Steeve, we can recommend the Eternal Ink Jess Yen – Buddha Gold. It should have just the right effect for your purposes. If you want a less prominent, darker gold, you can also use Eternal Ink Chukes – Old Gold.

The Katsuni technique uses Urushi lacquer into which powdered gold or other metals are sprinkled. This combination is more reminiscent of a darker, very slightly golden yellow. You can achieve this gold tone with Old Gold. However, if you want to get a more powerful gold for the effect on the tattoo, you should go for the Buddha Gold.
