What needle you use for lining?

Hi Sean, round liners (RL) are mostly used for line work. However, it is also possible to make lines with round shaders (RS). Magnums can also be used to tattoo special lines.

If you don’t know which needles to use for which purpose, we recommend that you train with a professional tattoo artist who will teach you all aspects of tattooing. Tattooing is not only an art, but also a craft. To learn how to tattoo, you can practice on artificial skin or oranges.
